We have a significant need for client advocates, boutique staff, and a media specialist. Please consider partnering with us in a volunteer capacity.

Opportunities for you to get involved at Assure.

Fill one of our many volunteer positions:

• Client Advocate (male and female):
  • Commitment of 3 hours a week at Assure.
  • Attend a 4 week training course and at least two continuing education trainings per year.
  • Meet one-on-one with up to three clients per shift, listening to their needs/problems, and talk about
    parenting strategies.
  • Mentor/counsel clients by becoming a trustworthy place for them to share their feelings.
  • Assist clients through the Earn While You Learn Parenting Program so they can earn Alpha Bucks and
    use them in our store for material goods.

• Client Advocate Assistant:
  • Assists client advocates as they work with clients that come into Assure requesting help with diapers,
    baby and maternity clothing, and other related items.
  • Assisting clients as they shop for baby items by holding babies, entertaining toddlers, and checking
    sorting room for requested items.
  • Occasionally carrying children or items out to vehicles.

• Boutique Staff:
  • Sort donations based on condition, size, gender, and style.
  • Organize donations and hang them.
  • Restock the shelves of our store.

• Media and Computer Specialist:
  • Computer technology experience to help us handle compute and technology issues.
  • Keep website and social media pages up to date with events, postings, photos, etc.
  • Work with Executive Director to increase community awareness.

• Board Members:

  • Board members are volunteers who meet once a month to handle corporate and organizational issues within the ministry of Assure. If you have professional skills such as accounting, corporate law or health care, would you prayerfully consider serving on our board of directors? Board packets are available during our business hours.

• Ultrasound Models:

  • Ultrasound models are needed to train our volunteer Registered Nurses in how to perform ultrasounds. Ultrasounds are used to verify the viability of pregnancies. For more information call and speak with our Clinic Manager.

• Other Ways You Can Help Assure:
  • Pray for Assure's clients, volunteers, the board of directors and staff.
  • Serve as an Assure Life Ambassador to your church.
  • Sanctity of Human Life Focus.
  • Participate in our Annual LifeWalk Fundraiser.
  • Participate in our Annual Baby Bottle Blessing Campaign.
  • Host a pop can drive.
  • Host a garage sale.
  • Host a car wash.
  • Have a business participate in a Donate a Dollar Drive.
  • Host a diaper/formula/baby food drive or baby shower.
  • Become a monthly financial donor.
  • Donate new or gently used baby and maternity items.
  • Underwrite events.
  • Donate a LifeWalk fundraiser prize.
